Ranunculus inundatus

Ranunculus inundatus

Ranunculus inundatus is a fantastic foreground midground plant.. It likes medium light and some CO2 but the unusual leaves sitting on the fine stems look like they are floating in little clusters above the substrate.. It Likes Medium Light but will take lower light though it will not be as full with longer internode lengths. CO2 is helpful for full thick growth but not absolutely necessary. it can be trimmed to make a solid mound like in the picture or allowed to go its own way and distribute itself over a further distance.. This is sold as single bare root nodes.

Staurogyne repens

Staurogyne repens

Staurogyne repens AKA Tropica #49 is a fantastic new foreground plant. It is a stem but grows fast and thick. It almost reminds me of the old standby English Ivy for a ground cover. LOL Each stem is easily planted in the foreground and it will root and grow then it can be clipped and replanted and the old stem will develop several new growth heads. This plant reproduces like crazy by clipping. CO2 is helpful but not necessary. Light and some nutrients however are! This may also be grown emersed in bog like situations. This is sold by the stem!
