Cape Fear Spatterdock Large

(Nuphar sagittifolia) US Native Cape Fear Spatterdock is very similar to Nuphar lutea however it has long narrow strap like leaves as opposed to oval heart shaped leaves. The leaves stay almost entirely submerged unlike most other lilies. Young plants NEED a decent phosphorous count and rich substrate.. they can tolerate very low light to high light but become much more dense with leaves with higher light. they are cold water tolerant but can take tropical temps as well. However above 80F is a bit tough on them.

these are Large Plants well leaved and bare root The tubers run about 6 inches or more long on these, so they ARE Large Plants and really only appropriate for ponds.
